REMEMBRANCE SERVICE

Remembrance Service 2015 001

On Friday the whole school came together to remember those Old Yarletians who lost their lives in World War One and World War Two.

In a poignant service, each ex-pupil’s name was read out by some of our Form 7 pupils whilst our Head Pupil and Deputy Head Pupil laid a wreath at the foot of our memorial plaques.  The choir sang beautifully to mark this special occasion and thanks go to one of our governors, Rev John Davis, for leading the service and to the Royal British Legion for sending a representative with a standard from the local branch.
