GREEN FINGERED GARDENERS IN GARDENING CLUB

Gardening Club June 2019

Things are beginning to sprout (along with the weeds!) in our patches of garden. Some of the children have harvested their first radishes and although the rain made for soggy children, it is great to get some of the more stubborn seeds germinating. Most of the the children can see some peas, beans, carrots, lettuce, rocket, spinach and spring onions growing in their garden. We have even started to plant up our jeans with tomatoes and herbs!! The children have also grown cress inside egg shells with hydrogels (nappies!) and have had great results! Well done to our green fingered gardeners.
