Yarlet School | DRAWING FESTIVAL AT STAFFORD LIBRARY

DRAWING FESTIVAL AT STAFFORD LIBRARY

Drawing Festival 1

On Saturday 10th October, 15 of our budding young artists took part in the Big Draw.

They were inspired by The Big Draw’s ‘Every Drawing Tells a Story’ workshop which was held at Stafford’s impressive new library in Tipping Street.

Stafford’s Decorative and Fine Arts Society (DFAS) member Mrs Pam Graham invited Yarlet’s pupils to take part in this, the second of four art workshops, being held during October.

Our pupils learnt about the history of Stafford town’s architecture before creating their own pen and colour wash study of part of one of these magnificent buildings.

All of our pupil’s wonderful artwork can shortly be viewed at the library and on its website.

A big thank you to Mrs Graham and her artist friends for an such an enjoyable morning of art.
