FORM 5'S GEOGRAPHY ADVENTURE IN STONE

Science Experiment and Form 5 Trip to Stone 005

Form 5 took an adventure into Stone town centre to interview the public about the area.

This forms part of their project on a Local Study in Geography, which requires pupils to collect data by interviewing members of the public, which they will then analyse and form an idea of the habits of people in Stone.  Questions were varied and interesting, including, "Why do you come to Stone?", "Where do you work?" and "How far have you come from?" The answers were equally varied and interesting; "Would you believe me if I said I was 21?", "I'm originally from Egypt!" and "I used to be a member of staff at Yarlet School!" (Pupils enjoyed bumping into Dr. Podhraski, former Maths teacher). Form 5 demonstrated excellent behaviour and now look forward to examining their results.
