IMG 1116

It was a proud Yarlet headmaster who went along to the Rotary Club of Stafford Young Photographer Competition 2016 award ceremony on Thursday 28th April. The standard was very high and the number of entries was up on last year with over 800 individual photographs submitted by 200 children with 19 schools represented.

Yarlet pupils' success was exceptional with winners in both the colour and monochrome categories as well as a 2nd place in colour, 3rd place in monochrome, 2 commended photographs and one highly commended. Each pupil below was presented with a medal and their photos exhibited at the Stafford Guildhall. Furthermore, the audience was asked to vote for its favourite photograph on the night and they chose a Yarlet entry; particular congratulations for that Danielle and well done to all of you!!
