Over the past few weeks, Form Six pupils have undertaken Police Cadet training, learning invaluable skills and helping them to understand the varied roles and responsibilities of a Police Officer. This was led by Dianne Lutwyche, who expertly guided them through modules on Anti-Social Behaviour, Forensics, Phonetics and Radio-signalling.
On Friday, proud parents witnessed the Passing Out Parade, where each and every pupil was given a cap, badge and T-shirt honouring their efforts during the cadet sessions. From this experience, Form Six have learnt how to be respectful, honest, caring and considerate, as well as more mature young adults, and as their form tutor I couldn't be more proud of their efforts and enthusiasm throughout.
This has been a wonderfully positive and enjoyable insight for these pupils, and has given them the courage and confidence to grow into more respectful and dutiful citizens for their communities. Mr Pass
