Forms 5 to 8 girls enjoyed putting their mums to the test in a friendly netball match.
It was fun to see Mums doing star jumps, side stepping and all manner of passes in the warm up. The girls seemed to be throwing the ball much harder than usual to try to catch them out!
At first the Mums were unaware of where the court lines were or which third they were allowed in, much to the girls' amusement. It was impressive to see them jumping and fighting for the ball.
The girls had a slight lead throughout the match until a clever switch of players gave Heidi Hood a chance to show off her shooting skills right in the last seconds of the match. Final score 3-3.
The afternoon concluded with a delicious team tea with the most spectacular cakes! Everyone agreed that the carrot cake was the best they had ever tasted. Needless to say every piece was devoured.
It was a wonderful end to the girls' season and a super memory for Mrs. Millington to take away at the end of her netball coaching career.
