Day 1After a short journey to Shropshire, we finally arrived at PGL - Boreatton Park. We were first introduced to our guide for the next two days, Holly. She took us on a tour of the site and then the children had some time to settle into their cabins. After lunch, we then went on our first two activities - High Ropes and Quad Biking. In the evening we all had our first dinner together at the centre and got ready for the evening Disco. We were all looking forward to the next full day of fun.
Day 2After a good night sleep the children had an action packed day. We built rafts in teams, went on a very frightening giant swing, and learned surviving skills in the wood. The children were eager to try everything despite being nervous. Heights are not everyone's cup of tea! In the evening the children enjoyed a traditional campfire where they joined in with the catchy songs which I am sure they have already share with you since our return.
Day 3No sunshine yet! However, despite the very wet conditions, we have all enjoyed our last activities including Zip Line and Basic Caving. All groups loved trying new activities - we've got some real adrenaline fans with us but we've also got those who were bravely stepping out of their comfort zones - they should be proud of themselves!
WELL DONE LEAVERS OF 2018!
