Key Stage One headed off for our annual jaunt to Ainsdale beach yesterday. We were thoroughly prepared for more of the wet weather with our macs and a back up plan for it being too rainy. Imagine our increasing joy at seeing the skies clear the closer we got to the beach! What a fabulous day was had by all, from looking for mermaids purses and crabs, to having fun on the sunny sands. Fun was had by all, especially when the ice-cream van was spotted. How lucky we are!
